Essex Business Directory listing terms

These terms apply to listing a business in, and using, the Essex Business Directory on localleadshub.co.uk. The directory is run by Mark Westley trading as Local Leads Hub, a sole trader ("we", "us"). Business correspondence address: Bowen Suite, The Globe Centre, 1 St. James Square, Accrington, BB5 0RE. 1. Listings are free
Listing a business is free. There is no charge to submit, publish or remove a listing. If we ever offer paid options, they will be optional and we will tell you before you are asked to pay anything.
2. Who can list
Businesses based in, or serving, Essex. You must own the business or have the owner's permission, and be 18 or over. The directory covers Essex only and does not include Greater London areas.
3. How it works
- You submit your business using the free add your business form.
- We check every listing before it is published. We may ask you a question, edit for clarity or length, or decline a listing.
- Once published, your listing shows the details you chose for display.
- To change or remove your listing, email info@localleadshub.co.uk. Anyone can report a listing using the form on its page.
4. What you agree to
- The details you give are accurate and you will tell us if they change.
- You have the right to share the contact details you publish.
- You will not enter a home address. Sole traders' addresses are never shown; only businesses with premises may choose to show a premises address.
5. Acceptable content
Listings must be for a genuine, lawful business. We will not publish, and may remove without notice, listings that:
- are false, misleading, spam or duplicates, or impersonate another business;
- advertise anything illegal, adult, hateful, harassing or unsafe;
- include other people's personal information, or infringe someone else's rights (for example trade marks);
- contain links to harmful or unrelated websites;
- are for a business outside Essex.
6. No vetting or endorsement
Listings are written by businesses. Our check before publishing is only to keep out spam and unsuitable content. We do not vet, verify, inspect, recommend or endorse any business, and a listing is not a recommendation or a guarantee of quality. We do not check insurance, qualifications, registrations, reviews or the quality of work. Please make your own checks before using any business. Any agreement is between you and that business.
7. Removal
You can ask us to remove your listing at any time by emailing info@localleadshub.co.uk, and we will do so promptly. We may remove or decline any listing that breaks these terms, is reported and appears inaccurate, or that we can no longer confirm. We may also pause or close the directory.
8. Liability
The directory is provided free and "as is". We try to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. We are not responsible for the goods, services, advice or conduct of any listed business, or for losses arising from dealing with them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
